Asian comfort food is making its way to Philadelphia, by way of Connecticut. Mecha Noodle Bar will complete its culinary odyssey when it opens in Fishtown next year, reports The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The small but powerful chain will be moving into a newly erected apartment complex at 1700 North Front Street. The building is still under construction, however the completed project will allow Mecha Noodle Bar 3,500 square feet to craft and serve its particular brand of Asian cuisine.
The concept focuses on offering delicious comfort food, ranging from pho to ramen. The restaurant, which ownership describes as having a “fun, high-energy” vibe, strives to provide a thoroughly satisfying dining experience for its visitors. The website describes its ethos and cuisine, stating “Pho, ramen, and cocktails — we serve some of Asia’s most comforting dishes. Among other things, we do riffs on food that can be found in the streets of Southeast Asia. Our beverage program sets us apart from the rest.
