The distinctive concept will be taking over 10,000 square feet at 1218 Chestnut Street, with a projected late September or early October opening. The space will be put to good use; Beat The Bomb’s physical imprint will include two five-room “mission experience routes”, a laser maze room, a private party room, and five game bays.

Beat The Bomb invites four to six person groups to solve puzzles and complete challenges as a team, culminating in the disarming a slime, paint, or foam bomb. The game bays will feature arcade games and will be available for rental periods of up to 90 minutes for groups of four to eight.

Hungry guests can nosh on a variety of traditional bar favorites, ranging from burgers to wings. Additionally, the bar will offer a selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Beat The Bomb’s founder and CEO Alexander Patterson believes that the original nature of the concept will both set it apart from and make it a welcome part of the Philadelphia dining and recreation scenes. He states “I think we’re going to fit in. And importantly, we’re going to provide something that’s very unique, so we’re not another indoor golf place.”
