According to Riken Patel of BB Dreshertown, that location is slated to open mid-2023, following a Warminster opening sometime next month at 768 W Street Rd.

“Bubbakoo’s has a great culture, and I’m excited to be a part of that culture and to see something flourish really well,” Patel tells What Now Philadelphia. “I think they’re taking really great care of franchisees, to see them develop and grow.”

Bubbakoo’s follows the increasingly popular build-your-own model, with choice of protein and add-ons that can be prepared as a burrito or bowl, quesadilla, nachos, tacos, taco salad, or chiwawa. However, where the brand really shines is in its signature offerings such as General Tso’s Chicken Tacos, Sriracha Shredded Pork Nachos, Nashville Hot Chicken Burrito, and Mango Habanero Grilled Chicken Taco Salad.

Founders Paul Altero and Bill Hart – who had previously worked with Americana-themed diner Johnny Rockets – opened the first Bubbakoo’s in 2008 along the Jersey Shore, and credit their “immediate success” to the “high-quality food” that is “fresh, made-to-order, and affordable for kids, families, and seniors,” according to the company’s website

Bubbakoo’s goes on to explain that the brand’s roots “are in the skater and shore scene, but all are welcome in what’s quickly becoming a neighborhood hub of activity,” adding, “Paul and Bill realize service can be the deciding factor in a restaurant’s growth. They believe outstanding service and attention to detail have contributed to the tremendously positive word-of-mouth about Bubbakoo’s.”

Arlene Gray, director of leasing for Paramount Realty closed the deal between Bubbakoo’s and Dreshertown Plaza.
