Pottstown Equities LLC is looking to develop land that will be inhabited by a Chipotle Mexican Grill along with 7,200 sq. feet of retail space on Route 100 in Pottstown. WFMZ reports that the company recently submitted its plans to the Pottstown Borough Council, asking for approval to demolish an existing 5,600 sq. ft. Friendly’s restaurant at 200 Shoemaker Rd. According to the application, a 2,235 sq. ft. Chipolte with outdoor seating and a pickup drive-thru would be built in its place. Pottstown Equities LLC’s retail space will be in a separate structure from the restaurant at 200 Shoemaker Rd. and Route 100.
