“What motivates me to continue moving forward with this business is how we are empowering people into business ownership, in particular women who make up 94 percent of our clients. It’s life-changing,” Elite Salons & Suites Owner Bobby Keyes told What Now Philadelphia.

Elite Salons & Suites rents 120 to 500 sq. ft. spaces within their buildings to a diverse array of beauticians and personal care service providers. Elite Salons & Suites finds the real estate and constructs high-end facilities that house multiple salon suites.

“We believe our model is unique and different from the rest of the industry with our large spacious lobbies and break room for business owners. We also offer tenants included amenities like access to a washer and dryer, we clean their suite for them, offer professional coaching and free seminars, as well as free booking software,” Keyes said. “We give them a turnkey solution to jump into business ownership.”

Tenants of Elite Salons & Suites just need to buy their supplies and have proper business licensing in place. In addition to making more money instead of handing it over to a salon owner, this business model allows tenants the freedom to make their own schedule.

“A lot of our tenants are moms and singles moms, and they have the flexibility to call their own shots. If their child is sick, they can rearrange their schedule and set their own hours,” Keyes said.

Elite Salons & Suites in Center Valley will inhabit the 6,000 sq. ft. space that formerly housed The Children’s Place. An elaborate construction job will take place, costing upwards of $1 million before the facility opens. You’ll often find hair, massage, injection, facial, waxing, and nail tenants at Elite Salons & Suites. Elite Salons & Suites currently have six Pennsylvania locations in Berwyn, Bryn Mawr, Doylestown, Feasterville, Society Hill Philadelphia, and West Chester.
