The brand new concept is moving into the space at 527 Clements Bridge Road that last housed the Barrington Diner. The new ownership intends to keep much of the retro design of the building, while refurbishing the decoration for a refreshed look.
An opening timeline is not currently available, however the Garnet Grill website states that the eatery is “coming soon”.
A social media post to the new restaurant’s Facebook page describes management’s vision for the concept. Speaking of the Barrington itself and how it inspired him, owner Patrick Duff states: “I thought that Tom was missing out on the chance to feed the massive crowds that form across the street at my favorite brewery in Barrington called Tonewood Brewing, which is something that we will now be able to do serving the best Fried Chicken, Cheesesteaks, and Trenton style Pizza around.
We will be working hard on making some improvements to the space over the next couple of weeks, and we look forward to seeing you all soon!”
