Spiegelworld, the Las Vegas-based live entertainment group, recently announced its plans for a multi-million dollar makeover for The Hook, located at Caesars Atlantic City Hotel & Casino at 2100 Pacific Ave, culminating in a year-round live show in a 400-seat theatre as well as the opening of “Italian-American-Psychedelic” restaurant, Superfrico, come June 2023.

Billed as a “veritable smorgasbord for the senses,” Superfrico – which currently operates one location in Las Vegas – offers “wall-to-wall eye candy and impromptu amusements across a series of imaginatively-themed, infinitely explorable bars, lounges, and dining rooms,” where guests can enjoy a panoply of dishes that “[pay] tribute to generations of Old World Italian cooks,” while simultaneously “chuck[ing] the rule book out the window,” and “reimagining the classic dishes with the best, most mind-blowing flavors, textures, and techniques on the planet.”

If that all sounds terribly abstract, a few of the tantalizingly innovative – if not still a bit enigmatic – options include Beef Cheek Rigatoni, Trapanese Pesto Gemelli, Grilled Calamari Spiedini, and a Lobster “Thermidor” Square pizza.

And though these are all taken from Superfrico’s existing West Coast menu, Superfrico at The Hook promises to “feature the most popular dishes from its Las Vegas menu,” while “weaving in the best of Atlantic City’s regional produce and influences.” Which is to say diners can expect some variation between the two.
