The JSRG will be opening its newest restaurant at 211 Applegarth Road in late autumn. The site, currently undergoing renovations, previously housed Tios El Taco.  Coastal Canteen will highlight dishes from across a variety of cultures and prominently feature an impressive cocktail selection.

A press release provided to What Now Philadelphia describes the scope and aim of the eatery, stating “Opening late this fall, Coastal Canteen will be a flavor-forward dining experience influenced by the rich culinary traditions of Mexico, northern Africa, the Caribbean, and the Mediterranean. Inside an approachable, coastal ambiance, Coastal Canteen will welcome every guest to unwind, savor offerings of thoughtfully prepared dishes, and explore an extensive cocktail program with tequila and rum selections inspired by the regions represented on the menu.”

Coastal Canteen will be a welcome addition to the Jersey Shore Restaurant Group’s growing roster of concepts. JSRG’s portfolio currently includes Half Moon Point and Harpoon Willy’s.
