The eatery is bringing its greens to the Freehold Marketplace, located at the intersection of Route 33 and West Main Street. Just Salad will be moving into a building to be built on the site, which it will share with an unnamed burger chain. 2,535 square feet of the 5,035 square foot building will be dedicated to Just Salad, which will feature a drive-thru lane for customers on the go.
The proposal to build the restaurant only recently attained township Planning Board approval, so Freehold foodies have a considerable wait ahead of them before they can sample Just Salad’s fare. A spokesperson for the chain confirmed that the restaurant is hoping for an early 2026 opening, adding “”Just Salad is excited to bring its mission of everyday health and sustainability to the Freehold Township community.”
