The futuristic concept is bringing its conveyor belts and unagi rolls to the Westfield Garden State Mall early next year. Kura is moving into space 2311 at 1 Garden State Plaza, a second-story storefront that previously housed the Microsoft store.
The restaurant will occupy 3,643 square feet that allows seating for up to 26 patrons-21 at booths and five at a counter. Kura Revolving Sushi delivers its many delicious dishes via conveyor belts that circulate throughout the eatery.
In addition to the interactive delight of ordering and receiving meals, customers can look forward to receiving prizes; every 15 dishes placed into a vending machine earns a reward.
Launched in Japan in 1977, Kura Revolving Sushi has developed an impressive fan following across the United States. The chain now has 69 locations across the country, anchored by its selection of over 100 authentic Japanese dishes.
