According to Wawa’s website, the gas station/convenience store will open at 364 Susquehanna St. in Allentown in the winter of 2022. The Morning Call reports that this location will include eight fueling stations and a 5,585 sq. ft. convenience store. You can find the store’s sample menu here.

Another is planned at the former Chris’s Restaurant site at 774-784 Hellertown Rd. on Route 412 in Bethlehem. This location will also have eight gas pumps and 5,585 sq. ft. of retail space. Their pumps will be covered by a canopy and will have a 55 space parking lot, as well as a place for a sign announcing it as the gateway to Bethlehem.

The Wawa planned for 40890 Jandy Blvd. in Lower Nazareth Township was approved for an inter-municipal transfer of a Pennsylvania Restaurant Liquor License to serve liquor inside its store. In addition to their gas station, this Wawa site will have seating for about 30 where patrons will be allowed to consume up to two 12-ounce beers or two 8 oz. glasses of wine on-site. This is one of about six stores in Pennsylvania that sell alcohol on site. Construction has yet to start on the property.

South Whitehall Township will also get a new Wawa at Route 309 and Chapmans Road.
