A new restaurant is headed to Rittenhouse Square, according to a Craigslist post seeking a general manager. The location of the restaurant, listed as 124 S. 19th St. in Philly, was once home to Wiz Kid sandwich shop. According to Philly Eater, Wiz Kid, known for its vegan cheesesteaks, opened in 2017 and was later folded into the owners’ vegan restaurant and bar named V Street next door at 126 S. 19th St.

V Street, which opened in October 2014, closed permanently in the summer of 2020 due to the pandemic. The new restaurant will offer full-serving dining. The future GM will work in a physical setting described as a “bar, casual dining restaurant, and fine dining restaurant.”
