NYC’s Celebrity-Owned Serendipity3 Coming to Atlantic City

Atlantic City visitors will soon be able to grab a famous Frrrozen Hot Chocolate in between hitting big at the slots when Serendipity3 opens this spring. The world-renowned celebrity-owned New York City restaurant, known for its elaborate desserts, plans to open in Ocean Casino Resort at 500 Boardwalk this spring. Serendipity3 will boast 8,000 sq. ft. of fantastically modern space that pays homage to the eatery’s illustrious history. It will also feature an adjacent ice cream parlor.

“We are excited to welcome this one-of-a-kind eatery to the Ocean restaurant portfolio,” said Warren Richards, Senior Vice President of Food & Beverage for Ocean Casino Resort. “Located just steps from the energy of Ovation Hall, the addition of Serendipity3 will present our guests with the chance to create memories with each bite in a playful environment that is unique to Atlantic City.”

This will be the third Serendipity3 location, which originally open opened in Manhattan in 1954 and was frequented by legends like Marilyn Monroe, Cher, and Andy Warhol. It has also been featured in several films and was the subject of the 2001 film “Serendipity,” featuring John Cusak and Kate Beckinsale. Its current celebrity following includes Jay-Z, Beyonce, and Kim Kardashian. Selena Gomez just came on as a partner and investor.

“I am thrilled that we will be expanding and opening a Serendipity3 location in the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City,” said Gomez. “Many new guests will be able to visit and discover what we all love so much about the original New York location.”

Serendipity3 server over-the-top Americana dishes like foot-long hot dogs, burgers, mac and cheese, drug store sundaes, and Guinness World Records dishes like their Golden Opulence Sundae, the most expensive sundae in the world, which is covered in edible gold leaf and costs $1,000.
