The new year will bring a brand new fast-casual sushi restaurant to Quakertown. Bang Bang Hibachi Grill & Sushi is planning a New Years Day launch at 1465 24 W. Broad St. in Quakertown. This will be owner Jimmy Wang’s second Bang Bang Hibachi Grill & Sushi location. His first opened at 1519 Lehigh St. in Allentown about a year ago. The Pennsylvania Bang Bang Hibachi Grill & Sushi locations share branding with one in Nashville, TN, whose chef mascot differs slightly from Pennsylvania’s kawaii-styled mascot.

Wang, who hopes to expand the brand as a nationwide chain, said he decided to open in Quakertown after the success of the Allentown location and realized that Quakertown didn’t have a hibachi option. Many of the Yelp reviews for Bang Bang Allentown lauded the restaurant’s generous portions and low prices.

“I love this town,” Wang told What Now Philadephia. “And we wanted people in Quakertown to have the same quality food at fair prices.”

Bang Bang’s Quakertown location will have a sushi bar that seats five or six people and six dining tables that could seat between 30 and 40 people. Bang Bang has a full sushi menu of rolls, nigiri, and sashimi and a variety of hibachi dishes that come with rice and vegetables. Bang Bang also serves appetizers, soups and salads, fresh smoothies, fruit green teas, and bubble teas.
