Spring, Texas partners Tom Pisula and Moussa Haidar have signed a multi-franchise agreement with Twin Peaks Restaurant to build 10 of their uber-masculine sports bar lodges in the Philadelphia area. Pisula, a former resident of Pittsburgh, says he and his partner are scouting locations and expect the first two locations to start construction by the second quarter of 2022.

“The thing about Philadelphia that I like is that there’s so much of a population for our brand,” Pisula told What Now Philadelphia. “The population is strong in Philly. It’s a natural brand for the area, and we just love it. Twin Peaks has great, quality food, and they get a huge drawing.”

Twin Peaks is a gathering place for sports fans known for its rugged lodge decor, made-from-scratch food, chilled beer poured at 29-degrees, and “scenic views,” which may or may not refer to the copious amounts of cleavage displayed by their scantily clad waitresses a la Hooters-style.

“We’re beyond excited to partner with two new owners to bring our ‘Lodge Mantality’ to the Philadelphia area,” Twin Peaks CEO Joe Hummel said, according to RestaurantNews.com. “There aren’t many people in the world as passionate for their teams as Philly fans, and we know they’ll appreciate the sports-watching experience Twin Peaks provides. Our wall-to-wall T.V.s allow sports fans to never miss a snap, shot, or score – no matter where they are sitting. We can’t wait to move forward with this deal and announce where in the area we will be bringing our unmatched food items, drink selection, and scenic views.”

Pisula, who also owns medical space in Philly and N.J., is also working on opening Whataburger and Bojangles franchises throughout the U.S., and will look to expand these franchises in Pennsylvania as well.
