Wawa Continues Its New Jersey and Pennsylvania Expansion

Make way for the Wawas.

Wawa announced a new set of gas station/convenience stores in New Jersey and Pennsylvania to open this spring and summer. Wawas will open this spring at Chestnut St. and Gravel Park in Hereford and at 225 A Levittown Parkway in Levittown, PA. Another PA Wawa is planned to open this summer at East Lincoln Highway and Walnut Street in Langhorne, along with a New Jersey location at W. Landis Ave. and S. Mill Rd. in Vineland.

Wawa, which has been called “as familiar to the Pennsylvania landscape as scrapple and Tastykakes,” first opened in 1964 in Folsom PA. They now have grown a cult-like following with over 750 convenience stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and Florida.
