Once open, the restaurant-located at Sansom and 20th Streets-will welcome between 140 and 165 patrons. Dear Daphni will offer both indoor and al fresco dining in one of Philadelphia’s most desirable neighborhoods.

Dear Daphni will continue Michael Schulson’s steady domination of the restaurant scene. The restaurateur has had a busy few years; his hospitality group has been developing the recently opened Bar Lesieur and an unnamed speakeasy set to open on Broad Street. The 1,500 square foot bar has been put on the back-burner as Schulson’s team prepares to open Dear Daphni.

The Schulson Collective is behind some of Philadelphia’s most celebrated eateries. The hospitality group can take credit for 11 bars and restaurants across Center City, including Double Knot, Prunella, and Independence Beer Garden.
