Everlane is expanding its retail presence by opening its first store in the Philadelphia area on September 1st in the King of Prussia mall, making it the brand’s 10th retail location nationally.
The store will feature an assortment of men’s and women’s clothing. Everlane’s in-store features bridge the gap between digital and physical commerce to provide the best experience for customers. Features include:
- Save My Spot (Everlane SMS) – Everlane will hold products and save customers’ places in the fitting room line, then text when the room is ready.
- Available In-Store Check – Customers can check online before heading to the store to see if a style is available in-store.
Everlane is also committed to sustainability across all aspects of the business, including its retail stores, and sustainability is an essential part of ambassador training, in-store practices, and store design. All stores are constructed using natural materials, including FSC certified and locally harvested wood, biodegradable and natural textiles, 100% recycled flooring, reclaimed glass, energy-efficient LED lighting, and recycled signage.
In honor of the opening, Everlane has partnered with Rodale Institute, who has developed a world-class science and direct farmer-support program at their global headquarters in Pennsylvania to serve as a catalyst for change in regenerative organic farming and food production worldwide. Locally, Rodale Institute’s Watershed Impact Trial study and Grow Clean Water campaign explore the connections between farming practices and clean water in the Delaware River Watershed and work to further educate the public surrounding the link between the two.
Additionally, the store will offer fun treats throughout opening weekend from local Philadelphia retailers, such as Weckerly’s Ice Cream, Pour Richard’s Coffee Co., Down North Pizza, and Center City Pretzel!
