Fishtown’s ‘OG’ spot for natural wines, which promises “no reservations, no bad vibes, [and perhaps most importantly] no added sulfites” has some pretty great news to share. The natural wine bar and shop, aptly called Fishtown Social, will soon expand to the Jersey Shore. (Although you shouldn’t worry if you’re not a natural wine fan– while Vanessa Wong’s array of delicious natural and biodynamic wines works to convert you, the shop also offers a “nifty selection” of cocktails and beer to enjoy with a seasonal menu of charcuterie and small plates).

Fishtown Social made an exciting announcement across its social media channels last week: “We’re opening a 2nd location at the Jersey Shore! VENTNOR PROVISIONS CO. Natural Wine Shop & Market coming in 2022 to Ventnor City, NJ. Gonna make my happy place even happier.”

Fishtown Social offers a full bar in the front with a bottle shop in the back. “Our focus is on sustainable, organic, biodynamic and natural wines from small producers, interesting wine regions and lesser-known varietals,” shares the company’s website.

Ventnor Provisions Co is currently under construction and headed to 101 N Dorset Ave; according to Philly Voice, the shop will open in early spring of 2022. What Now Philly reached out to Wong at the time of publication, but did not hear back, so you’ll definitely want to keep an eye on Ventnor Provisions Co’s social media for further updates on when your natural wine cravings will be sated.
