The fast-casual juggernaut will be taking over the space that formerly housed Pier 1 Imports, located at 4331 US-9, #1. The retail store has been demolished and Shake Shack will occupy a new building, currently being constructed.
The establishment, known for its burgers and milkshakes, will cover 3,305 square feet. The restaurant, complete with a drive-thru, will offer seating for up to 62 guests indoors. Guests eager to enjoy the upcoming warm weather while savoring a burger and fries will be able to do so at one of the 42 outdoor seats, located under a canopy.
While an official opening date is not yet available, construction is underway at the site, making it likely Shake Shack will begin serving guests in late summer or early fall. Shake Shack has confirmed they still intend for the Freehold restaurant, as well as another new location being erected in Middletown, to open before the end of 2024.
