The beloved cafe has leased a space at 2501 Merchantville Avenue. The building, formerly a bank, will provide Starbucks with 1,900 square feet to caffeinate visitors. While a precise opening date is not currently available, the chain is aiming to open the Pennsauken location this summer. Starbucks signed the lease recently and the building requires renovation prior to greeting customers.

The latest Starbucks location will strengthen an already impressive Garden State presence. The coffee giant has around 300 locations spread across New Jersey. Founded in Seattle in 1971, Starbucks has amassed an enormous and devoted fan-following. The cafe garnered praise for its hot and cold coffee drinks as well as its bakery items and grab-and-go options. The chain now has approximately 38,000 stores serving 84 countries.
