The restaurateur has not yet selected a location for the Delaware-based eatery. The Wilmington Checkers comes hot on the heels of Goswami’s planned revitalization of several Philadelphia-area based stores.

Goswami will be reopening three of thirteen closed-down Checkers in the coming weeks. The entrepreneur has already re-launched a shuttered restaurant at 9173 Roosevelt Boulevard in late July. The remaining restaurants are located at 2729 West Hunting Park Avenue, 4813-23 Lancaster Avenue, and 232-50 West Lehigh Avenue in Philadelphia and 2881 Mount Ephraim Road in Camden, New Jersey. There is no precise opening date set for these locations yet.

Goswami is a extremely well-versed in the hospitality industry, making him the ideal candidate to revive the Checkers brand on the East coast. The franchisee also owns Taco Bells, Pizza Huts, and Popeyes.
