Fogo de Chao CEO Barry McGowan expressed enthusiasm for the Bridgewater Commons location, telling NJBiz We look forward to welcoming guests to our new restaurant soon, to discover the culinary art of Churrasco, and the very best cuts that Brazil has to offer right here in Bridgewater.”

Fogo de Chao takes its inspiration from Brazilian steakhouses. The first location greeted customers in Porto Alegre in 1979. The corporate-owned chain has since grown to include 62 restaurants across the United States, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and Mexico.

Visitors to Fogo de Chao can look forward to gourmet cuts of premium meats prepared tableside. Side dishes include beloved classics like mashed potatoes as well as some unexpected surprises like caramelized bananas and polenta.
