Riverport Public Market is a 24,000 sq. ft. marketplace in the heart of Southside Bethlehem solely dedicated to food and beverage, creating a unique experience for shoppers and culinary enthusiasts. According to The Morning Call, it will house over 20 vendors when it opens at 17 W. 2nd St. in Bethlehem next spring. Once a 198,000 sq. ft. steel machine shop built in 1941, the property was previously home to Lehigh Valley’s largest restaurant. The space was left vacant in 2013 before Ashley Development Corporation came in with its vision for Riverport Public Market, their website states. Riverport Public Market will house vendors and a demonstration kitchen for cooking classes, corporate events, and private parties. There will also be seating for over 200 lunch and dinner goers.

Batch Microcreamery‘s third location will be housed as Riverport Public Market serving hand-crafted ice cream made on-site.
Bethlehem Biscuit Company will be serving handmade buttermilk biscuits, biscuit sandwiches, whipped cheeses, fruit spreads, and salads made from locally sourced ingredients.
Buratti‘s will offer a modern blend of Mexican cuisine with an Italian twist by Chef Dakota Phillips.
Jealous Star Brewing Co., named for Norse mythology, is a brewery from restauranteur Ramiro Bravo, Brendon Velasquez, and Tom Kiss.
Rawberry will bring a fruity option to Riverport Market selling smoothies, juices, acai bowls, and salads made from fresh local produce.
Soaked Winery in a snob-free winery where everyone is welcome to enjoy their wines. Soaked Winery has a main location in Lehigh Township and a second location in Pike County.
Truffle Bar will sell chocolate truffles that are both visually and orally tantalizing. Truffle Bar currently offers online distribution and operates pop-up locations. Brooke Dietrick told The Morning Call that her truffle selection will be expanded at Riverport Public Market to include seasonal items, gluten-free, and protein truffles.
TYT Lite will offer a fast-casual dining version of Bravo’s Tacos Y Tequilla, which has locations in Allentown and Palmer Township.
Zahra will serve Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine. Zahra currently has a stand at the Downtown Allentown Market. Its sister restaurant is Allentown’s Aladdin.
