The Vintage Syndicate restaurant group-a collective including Philadelphia hospitality bigwigs Jason Evenchik, Josh McCullough, Terrance Leach, and Sal D’Amato- is behind the success of the previous Garage bars and will be spearheading the opening of this newest location as well. The latest Garage will live up to its name; the establishment is set to open at 1501 Spruce Street, directly beneath the Parkway garage.

Although Vintage Syndicate intends to adhere to the formula that made the Fishtown and Passyunk Garages so successful, the Center City location will provide the restaurant with considerably more room than its predecessors. The Spruce Street Garage will occupy 6,500 square feet, making it the largest Garage by a reasonable margin.

Management remains unclear about whether they will run Garage’s kitchen themselves or sub-lease the space. The objective is to create a location with a strong sports bar feel. As such, Garage will feature several televisions, as well as games like skeeball, billiards, and pinball.
