A Southern California chain is bringing the taste of the Wyoming mountains to Pennsylvania. This unique cultural melange, Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar, is coming to the King of Prussia Mall in the latter half of 2024, reports Philadelphia Business Journal.
The restaurant, designed to evoke a cozy, mountain lodge setting, will be taking over the location formerly occupied by the Fox & Hound at 160 North Gulph Road. The building needs to be demolished before construction on Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar can begin. The incoming eatery is still being designed.
The location will feature an outdoor dining area, complete with a fire pit.
Speaking of the brand’s newest home, Lazy Dog’s owner, Chris Simms states “We’re thrilled to join the growing and vibrant community of King of Prussia. Lazy Dog has been received with open arms as we’ve joined new neighborhoods and we can’t wait to be part of the community.”
Founded in 2003, Lazy Dog operates around 50 locations across California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, Texas and Virginia.
Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar serves an assortment of nourishing comfort foods. The eatery offers its own unique twist on classic tv dinners, as well as more conventional fare, including burgers, sandwiches, and salads. The restaurant will be open for weekend brunches, as well as offering happy hour deals and late night specials.
