A Mount Laurel shop is first up on the Boeses’ agenda. Construction is being finalized on the bakery, which will be opening at 4320 Dearborn Circle later this month. Jessica Boese spoke with What Now Philadelphia about the draw of the brand and what customers can expect from the chain.

Explaining the allure of Dearborn Circle, Boese states “We always knew Mt. Laurel would be the perfect place for a second bakery”, adding “Cambridge Crossing offers great parking, easy in and out to the major highways, and wonderful neighbors! The new landlords are committed to filling the empty spaces and bringing events to the shopping center, so we’re really excited for the opportunity to be part of that.”

The Boeses also intend to open a shop in Deptford, though that location is currently in the more preliminary phases. Boese explains that a location has been scouted, but not yet finalized.

The Boeses already run one successful Nothing Bundt Cakes in Cherry Hill. The enthusiastic welcome that shop has received helped urge the entrepreneurs to pursue further locations. “South Jersey has welcomed Nothing Bundt Cakes with open arms since we first opened the Cherry Hill location in July of 2021” Boese states,  “but we hear all the time how we’re ‘too far from X’ or that we should open a location ‘closer to Y,’ so we’re doing just that!”

Boese and her crew delight at running a business that allows them to spread happiness while interacting with the local community. Of course, the cake was what first drew the family to the business. “Our family absolutely fell in love with the cake and knew we had to share it with South Jersey.” Boese enthuses. ” ‘Bringing the Joy’ is our motto, and we get to do just that! Not only are we fortunate enough to provide our guests with dessert for their celebrations, but we feel strongly about supporting our community through fundraising opportunities and cake donations. It’s the best job ever!”

Nothing Bundt Cakes is a bit of a misnomer for the Boeses’ shops. While the storefronts do serve up the unique and delicious cake, they also sell greeting cards, candles, and party supplies. Though Nothing Bundt Cakes offers delivery, Boese hopes customers will find popping into their local shop to be a welcoming and rewarding experience. “We’ve hired the most amazing team, and I have no doubt they will carry on the exceptional service our guests have grown to love in Cherry Hill.” she states, adding “From the second you walk in and are greeted by their warm smiles and helpful suggestions to the moment you serve dessert, we hope Nothing Bundt Cakes stands out as your family’s go-to for celebrations.”
