The restaurant, located at 5401 Carlisle Pike, will be part of the developing Beltway Commons shopping center. Beltway will be dedicating 2,500 square feet of its 132, 144 square foot area to Panda Express. No estimated opening is currently available, however the shopping center has submitted its final land development plan to Hampden Township.
The project has faced myriad delays since it was first proposed in 2019. Beltway Commons will be occupying a lot that formerly housed a Radisson hotel, which has since been demolished to make space for the shopping center. Panda Express will be joining Starbucks, Cava, First Watch, and Raising Cane’s as tenants of the new development.
Cumberland County will certainly welcome Panda Express’s hugely popular brand of fast-casual American Chinese food. The restaurant is well-loved across the country, having accrued more than 2,200 locations since its inception in 1983. The menu features favorites ranging from chow mein to sesame chicken.
