Restauranteur Ramiro Bravo will bring a new concept and a twist on an old concept to the Riverport Public Market when it opens at 17 W. 2nd St. in Bethlehem in spring 2022. Jealous Star Brewing Co. and TYT Lite, a fast-casual version of Bravo’s Tacos Y Tequilla restaurants, will be among the 20+ vendors at the food and drink market.
Jealous Star Brewing Co. is a collaboration between Bravo, brewer Brendon Velasquez, and Tim Kiss, who named their brewery after a Norse myth about wolves who swallow the moon and sun, who are brother and sister, and cause events that signify Ragnarok, a battle between good and evil at the end of the world. Jealous Star Brewing Co. is known for hand-selecting ingredients for its brews, which come in various styles, from Hazy IPA to Stouts. The brewery won first place at the Lehigh Valley Home Brewing competition in 2018 for their East Coast IPA.
Tacos Y Tequilla has several full-service dining locations that serve Authentic Mexican cuisine and a rich menu of high-end tequilas and cocktails. TYT Lite will serve as an on-the-go version of Tacos Y Tequilla. Their menu will offer street tacos, bowls, burritos, quesadillas, and nachos using “authentic passed down family recipes” that are “just too good to keep secret.”
