For over a decade, the Egoavil-Anguiano family has run several successful restaurants serving fresh and delicious Central and South American dishes. Now, they recently announced they have broke ground on their next venture, an eatery called The Latin Pot that will offer Colombian, Venezuelan, and Brazilian dishes, according to local media outlet Philly Grub.

The family has yet to announce an opening date for the new spot, which is located in the Dublin Village Shopping Center at 161 N. Main Street. But they have been busy remodeling the space to get ready for the restaurant, co-owner Jack Egoavil told Philly Grub

“We believe the restaurant will do great, as the area is developing with more businesses opening. Change and evolution is a good thing,” he was quoted as saying. “There is nothing like this in the area.”

A representative of The Latin Pot did not immediately return What Now Philadelphia‘s request for comment.

The concept offers exclusive dining, with space for 30 to 40 people and a view into the kitchen to look on as meals are cooked. Patrons will also be able to take cooking classes at The Latin Pot, where chefs will teach them mouthwatering Latin recipes.

Egoavil’s sister Michelle and her husband Said Anguiano will be the managers of the establishment. They both previously were fixtures in the community at one of the other family-owned operations: El Tule in Lambertville, New Jersey.

El Tule, which Jack is part owner of, has been in business for over 12 years. The family also operates Doylestown’s Quinoa Peruvian & Mexican Restaurant, which Jack co-owns with sister Sylvia Egoavil.
