Philadelphia will soon have a fresh new way to satisfy its bacon cravings. Justin Coleman’s Bake’n Bacon is on track to open by Labor Day, reports The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Bake’n Bacon will be taking over the location vacated by Devil’s Den at 1148 South 11th Street. The location has been in development for quite awhile; What Now Philadelphia first reported on the intended brick and mortar in 2022. However, the restaurant finally has an opening in sight, with doors intended to open by early September.

As the name suggests, Bake’n Bacon focuses on bacon-based treats. The establishent claims more than 20 sandwiches crafted from applewood smoked bacon.

Bake’n Bacon entered the Philadelphia culinary scene as a food truck in 2019 and quickly earned an ardent fan base. In addition to sandwiches like the bacon and cheese and the bacon ranch, the eatery provides a wide range of breakfast options, sides including fries and macaroni and cheese, and a fun variety of bacon-based sweet treats.
