The restaurant, which “celebrates the ecological diversity of life by the sea” will be taking over 261 South 20th Street, space which currently houses Twenty Manning. The incumbent eatery is in the process of transferring the liquor license for the building to Little Water. Once the process is complete later this winter Twenty Manning will cease operations.

The Ruckers currently run River Twice, a restaurant which created the basic model that Little Water will follow. Both eateries will prioritize local ingredients, sourced with minimal ecological impact and utilizing seasonal ingredients. The Ruckers primarily aim to leave the planet as well as they found it; they state “Mother Nature is at the forefront of everything we do.”

Once opened, Little Water will greet guests for lunch and dinner five days of the week. The restaurant will feature an ala carte menu.
