Loch Bar, Atlas Restaurant Group Seafood Tavern, Opens Along Philadelphia’s Avenue Of The Arts At Arthaus, Dranoff Properties’High-Rise Condominium

The restaurant is set to open with a raw bar, Maryland-style seafood, caviar, cocktails and more for lunch and dinner seven days a week

Atlas Restaurant Group announced the grand opening of Loch Bar Philadelphia which opened its doors on Friday, October 13, 2023 at the corner of Broad and Spruce Street on the ground level of Arthaus Condominiums at 301 S. Broad Street. In partnership with Dranoff Properties, Loch Bar is the Baltimore-based restaurant group’s first long-awaited venture into the Philadelphia market, bringing one of the largest raw bars to the city, serving lunch, happy hour, dinner, weekend brunch and late-night dining options seven days a week.

At over 5,000 sq. ft of space, Loch Bar will allow seating for up to 170 guests, including seasonal outdoor dining. With its open-concept design and 13.5 foot floor-to-ceiling windows looking into Center City, guests can expect an approachable yet upscale, sophisticated dining experience including live local music entertainment seven days a week – a nod to the history of the restaurant’s location, being the original site of Philadelphia International Records and what many call the birthplace of “The Sound of Philadelphia.”

At the helm of the kitchen is Philadelphia-native Executive Chef Michael O’Halloran (previously of The White Dog Café and Stella of New Hope), who will lead Loch Bar’s culinary program, presenting an immersive menu of classic seafood fare with a new-age twist. Offerings include traditional crab cakes and lobster rolls, eye-catching seafood towers, a variety of oyster preparations, a selection of caviar, and more.

To complement the culinary offerings, Loch Bar Philadelphia’s beverage program has an extensive whiskey lists with selections from around the world, in addition to dozens of local craft beers and crafted cocktails and elixirs.

Loch Bar Philadelphia is located at 301 S. Broad Street, directly across the street from the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, and surrounded by venues such as the Wilma, the Suzanne Roberts Theatre, the Miller, and Academy of Music and Clef Club.

Behind daily operations will be General Manager Lynn Rinaldi, bringing 20+ years of experience.

Loch Bar’s will be open from 11:00am – 12:00am Sunday to Thursday and 11:00am – 1:00am on Fridays and Saturdays, with happy hour from 4:00pm – 7:00pm Monday – Friday.
