Husband and wife team Peter Kada and Trish Hunt-Kada opened the first Moustaki Authentic Gyros location at 161 North 21st Street in 2017. The restaurant aims to provide delicious, fresh, and authentic Greek food to Philadelphia.

Kada comes from a restaurant family. His grandfather, Pete Ampatzi, founded and operated Pete’s Famous Pizza in Center City in 1980.

Moustaki, the Greek word for “mustache”, prides itself on preparing authentic Greek fare. The menu features hand-carved meat, house-made tzatziki, and signature mustard sauces.

Kada and company are looking to franchise the Moustaki brand. The eatery is opening to third party investors interested in serving superior and authentic Greek dishes.
