The brewery’s latest taproom will be occupying 3,100 square feet in the historic Harleysville National Bank building, located at 271 Main Street. Kyle Park, Neshaminy Creek’s director of marketing, spoke with What Now Philadelphia about the breweries newest location. “We have been looking for another space to open a third taproom in for some time now as it’s a great way to make direct connections with customers and continue to build the Neshaminy Creek community right in our backyard.” he states, adding “This Harleysville project caught our eye because we love being part of the resurgence of town centers and providing a place for people to come together.”
The Neshaminy Creek crew believe the taproom will provide Harleysville residents with an opportunity to create and enjoy community. Park explains “More and more people are looking for these types of experiences when they go out with friends and family so we wanted to continue to provide places throughout the local area for people to connect with us and each other.”
The brewery will be an active part of Harleysville’s planned rejuvenation. Park says “We’re hoping to be part of a resurgence in Harleysville and a place that brings people together alongside other local businesses. Breweries and taprooms have always been great gathering places and we’re looking forward to offering people in the area something new in an historical space.”
Harleysville beer fans shouldn’t plan their night out just yet. Neshaminy Creek is still in the early phases of development. Park states “We have only just finished signing all of the documents and are anxious to dig into the rest of the work.”
The brewery hopes to open by late spring.
The Harleysville location will have no impact on Neshaminy Creek’s Croydon or New Hope taprooms.
Beer aficionados uncertain of where to start with the brewery’s selection can’t do better than the Warehouse Lager. Park explains “It’s a classic Mexican-Style Lager that hits all the classic notes and is great entry beer for newbies and seasoned beer drinkers alike.”
