A New Jersey couple is bringing healthy, fast options to Sewell in 2024. Husband and wife team Greg and Krissy Christian are opening a Playa Bowls in the Tower Square shopping center next year, reports local media 42 Freeway.
The Sewell Playa Bowls will be opening in unit H at 137 Egg Harbor Road. Franchisee Krissy Christian spoke to What Now Philadelphia about her and her husband’s decision to open their first franchise, and why Playa Bowls was the brand that attracted them. “We fell in love with the company and what they stand for.” she states, adding “We love the products and everything Playa Bowls Offers!”
The Christians saw a need for healthier options in the busy community and are looking forward to providing fresh, delicious meals. Krissy explains “We wanted to bring additional healthy options to the area. I know many families vacation to the Jersey Shore all summer, and enjoy the product! So let’s keep summer going all year long.”
Guests eager to sample the restaurant’s wide variety of fresh, delicious food can look forward to tasting its fare in early 2024. The Christians have begun taking the necessary steps to transform unit H from an ETG Financial into their Playa Bowls. Krissy describes where they are in the process, saying “We are moving along slow and steady-trying not to miss a beat. Our general contractor is very busy making sure everything will be ready to go once we get into the location. We are looking to open in EARLY January 2024!”
The Christians plan to eventually take Playa Bowls’ nutritious options to the streets. Krissy explains that the couple intend to pair with the chain to open a food truck that will provide healthy treats at local events.
