The unstoppable poultry juggernaut will begin construction in mid-2024 according to a spokesperson for the chain. The location will be smaller than most conventional Raising Cane’s storefronts. The Glassboro restaurant will occupy 3,321 square feet, making it approximately 100 square feet smaller than other Raising Cane’s locations.

The Glassboro location represents one aspect of the chains’ aggressive push into South Jersey. Raising Cane’s is opening restaurants in Burlington on January 11, 2024, Marlton at the end of the same month, Cherry Hill in February of next year, and Deptford in March. Additionally, the chain is in the early stages of developing Lawnside and Turnersville locations.

Raising Cane’s began serving hungry customers in Baton Rouge in 1996. Since that momentous beginning, the chain has grown to include over 700 locations worldwide, with restaurants in Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates, as well as myriad American storefronts.

Raising Cane’s has achieved global success by keeping its menu simple. The restaurant focuses on two basic dishes-chicken fingers and a chicken sandwich. Guests can customize their meals through the selection of sides, including coleslaw, crinkle cut fries, and Texas toast. The chain’s signature Cane sauce keeps loyal fans coming back for more
