Philadelphia-based Spread Bagelry is gearing up to open three new locations, beginning with one at 100 Main St in King of Prussia, followed by outposts in Upper Dublin and Ambler around April, the addresses for which are yet to be announced, according to a company spokesperson.
Prior to those openings, however, Spread will be celebrating National Bagel Day – which this year lands on Sunday, Jan 15 – with a week-long Instagram promotion dubbed That’s My Jam, that runs from Jan 15 to Jan 20.
To enter the contest and have a chance at winning a grand prize that includes a $100 Apple gift card, a $100 Spread Bagelry gift card, and an assortment of Spread’s signature jams and other swag, folks simply need to like Spread Bagelry’s Instagram photo on National Bagel Day, follow @spreadbagelry on Instagram, and tag three “bagel-loving-besties” in the comment section, with a bonus entry given to all who share the post on their own Instagram story.
“We truly love and value the communities we serve,” said Brooks Tanner, COO of Spread Bagelry. “Quite frankly, we just wanted a fun way to give back and this is kind of a cool way to do that. Everyone knows that we’re known for our hot-out-of-the-oven, Montreal-style bagels, and awesome bagel sandwiches, but not everyone knows that we also carry signature products in every store and online.”
Jamie Schrotberger, CEO of Spread added, “Because we have over 10K followers on Instagram, I think it seemed like an ideal place to make a splash. Our digital footprint has grown alongside our brick-and-mortar expansion to new locales.”
Spread Bagelry was founded in 2010 and has since grown to nine locations around Philadelphia’s metro area, as well as Bryn Mawr, Wayne, Glen Mills, and Cherry Hill.
Its menus include a range of breakfast bagel sandwiches such as the Frittata Sandwich Scramble, Nova Scramble Sandwich, and Carnegie Breakfast, as well as lunch options like the Chicken BLT, Garden Veggie, and Oven Brisket.
