The chain’s location at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is now closed, which the chain announced on April 5 via their Facebook account, but they still have two other locations at 1240 N. 50th Street in West Philadelphia and 1221 S. Broad Street. With the new space at Fashion District Mall, the chain would be back to a total of three smoothie bars open to the public.

As for their menu, you can find 18 different smoothie blends, including such creations as Super Clean Green, which is a combination of kale, chard, spinach, orange, lime, and pineapple, Super Berry, which is a mix of pineapple, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, and acai, and Chunky Monkey which is a blend of almond, peanut, banana, cocoa, cinnamon, and almond milk. The restaurant also has seasonal cold-pressed juices, oatmeal, muffins, acai bowls, wraps, chili, meatball subs, and a vegan pasta dish called Penne For Your Thoughts. You can also build your smoothie or wrap if you so desire.

Founder and co-owner Antwain Bullock is quoted on the restaurant’s website and says this about the restaurant’s mission: “Sweet Treat Hut is a company focused on helping people find a healthier way to eat and make more health-conscious decisions in their diet.  It started from one man’s diet to stop dietary issues and promote awareness within his community to give people healthier options to choose from.  We offer healthier alternatives that reinforce our message to help our community to convert and commit to a healthier lifestyle.  We want everyone to make a habit of prioritizing health and well-being.”
