Stephen Starr May Reopen The Plaza Café At Comcast Center As A French Style Bistro

According to sources in the restaurant industry, Stephen Starr and his STARR Restaurant Group, are planning to take over The Plaza Café at Comcast Center, located at 1701 JFK Boulevard in Philadelphia, and reopen the space in June. Those same sources say that this new restaurant could be a French bistro along the lines of the Parc Brasserie but as a slightly more informal restaurant per The Philadelphia Inquirer.

STARR Restaurants and Todd Rodgers, director of restaurants for the STARR Restaurant Group, did not respond to requests from What Now Philadelphia for comment. This new potential restaurant in The Plaza Café space has not yet been named.

The restaurants, businesses, and offices in the area of Comcast Center are starting to come back to life. Office workers have begun to return to the office buildings much to the delight of nearby restaurants and bars. In fact, The Market & Shops Food Hall at Comcast Center is scheduled to reopen in May per The Philadelphia Inquirer.
