There are some familiar faces behind Conshohocken’s incoming Daniel’s Restaurant + Bar. Chef Dan Brodeur and his wife Debbie Brodeur, who owned the now-closed award-winning Brodeur’s on State Street in Media, are breaking out on their own again to serve contemporary continental American cuisine and craft cocktails in a high-end setting. The Brodeurs will open Daniel’s Restaurant + Bar at 16 East First Ave. in March.

“We felt that logistically Conshohocken is a perfect location for what we are envisioning for the future of the brand. The increase in downtown development, infrastructure improvements, and the historic small-town feel make Conshohocken an excellent community in which to start and grow a business, especially a restaurant providing meals that are healthy and delicious. We are also conveniently located close to a parking garage as well as a train station,” the Brodeurs told What Now Philadelphia.

Daniel’s Restaurant + Bar’s main room will seat about 100 guests for upscale dining. There will also be a small private room off the main dining area. The Lounge and Bar will also seat 100 and have more of a sports bar atmosphere with multiple TVs. The restaurant’s second-floor private event space, referred to as “the Loft,” will house its own built-in bar along with seating for 85. Renovations are in the process of being completed for the March opening. Daniel’s Restaurant + Bar will open from 4 p.m. until close Wednesday through Sunday. You’ll be able to enjoy happy hour at the bar, as well as a late-night menu. The restaurant will hold off on brunch service for now.

“With more than 30 years in the business, we’re opening Daniel’s with one goal in mind: providing an enjoyable dining experience to the Conshohocken area,” the Brodeurs said. “We’re bringing dishes that are fresh, hearty, and simply unforgettable.”

In addition to being awarded for his delectable dishes in Media, Chef Daniel also sat on the Media Business Authority’s Board, as well as the PA Restaurant Association Board. He started working in his parent’s restaurant when he was 15, bussing tables and washing dishes before being promoted to bartender and cook. The Brodeurs left Anthony’s Caterers at the IATSE Ballroom in South Philadelphia to start this latest endeavor.
