The NJ Pen reports that The Shake Seafood, a fast-casual cajun seafood chain, will move into 24 S. Centre St. in Merchantville, NJ, formerly inhabited by Merchantville Diner. The company’s website shows two Philadelphia locations at 2141 Cottman Ave. , Unit D and 5717 Rising Sun Ave.

The Shake Seafood serves bagged seafood boils made with exotic sauces and flavors, as well as fried seafood, wings, and sides like hush puppies, corn, and steamed rice. The restaurant underwent rehabilitation and will open in the spring.
