The drive-thru coffee establishment began its life auspiciously, lowered into its spot at 3582 Penn Avenue by crane. The 500 square foot store arrived in Berks County on August 17. The owners are hoping to open by late October.
Courtney Odom explains the quartets decision to invest in 7 Brew, stating “We flew to Arkansas to see the brand, and when we stepped inside, to take a tour — I just knew. I had a sense of what I was supposed to do. I knew I had to bring it to the Northeast.”
The entrepreneur cites the company’s approach to customer service as a key component of its appeal. She adds “It is an infectious feeling seeing customers. If they aren’t smiling when they come through, they are when they leave.”
Odom explains that the Berks shop is only the opening salvo in 7 Brews plans for Pennsylvania and the Northeast. The company plans to open 50 new locations across eastern and central Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New York.
The first 7 Brew opened in Arkansas in 2017. The company has since expanded to include 122 locations.
Don’t be fooled by the name. 7 Brew offers far more than seven varieties of coffee. In addition to a wide range of customizable coffee options, the store features teas, energy drinks, infused waters, smoothies, and milkshakes.
