Detailed projections obtained by Cape Gazette explain that “the plan is to use the four existing buildings on the 0.63-acre parcel. The brewery operation and tasting room will be in the westernmost building on the site.” Jones says the venue will be too small to serve food. However, she and her husband Dave may collaborate with food trucks “during peak hours.”

The brewery’s plans go on to describe “an L-shaped bar with space for about 15 people. A small indoor seating area would be complemented with an outdoor patio. The patio would be the only new addition to the building.” While only 12 parking spaces will be available, it’s projected that “the brewery will generate 31 trips per day on average. The plan is to have a one-way entrance onto the property and a separate one-way exit farther east.”

A Lewes Brewing Facebook post from July 1, stated, “We are currently waiting on building permits from the town…Then hopefully we can move forward.”
