The Chick-fil-A restaurant will have a dual-lane drive-thru and will be the new home of an existing location in the Garden State Park shopping center that lacks a drive-thru. Principal Development Lead Clint Mattson told the Cherry Hill Planning Board that drive-thru lanes are integral from a marketing perspective for their restaurants. Chick-fil-A’s third Cherry Hill location will seat 98 indoors, with an additional 14 seats for outdoor dining. The fast-food chain also has locations on Haddonfield Road and the intersection of Route 70 and Kresson Road.

Chick-fil-A is an Atlanta-based chain that opened its first location in 1946. The company, which claims to be “Home of the Original Chicken Sandwich,” now has more than 2,400 restaurants in 47 states where they serve chicken sandwiches, nuggets, and wraps, as well as salads, sides, shakes, and other sweet treats. Chick-fil-A is known for closing on Sundays in observation of the Lord’s Day regardless of what Business Insider estimates could be up to $1.2 billion in lost sales.
