In the post, shared Feb 6, Sunflour writes, “We are hoping for a mid-summer move, June/July. We will be able to narrow down the details as we get moving on our build-out,” adding, “As for our build-out, we are working with an extremely talented design group and we will be bringing a complete new refreshed look to Sunflour. Our new location is going to allow us a few things. Part of the reason behind the move is to cater to our growing wedding business. The new location will feature a dedicated consult area. We will also have seating and a brand-new coffee menu complete with espresso drinks. Last we are expanding our retail selection to include more grab-and-go full-size items.”

Likewise, owner Maggie Alfinito tells What Now Philadelphia by email, “We are really excited to meet all of the Marlton residents that may not have ever visited one of our other locations. At the same time we have worked hard on and are very excited about finding a location that is easily accessible and close by for all of our current customers. We really feel like we found the perfect spot.”

It’s worth noting that in response to a comment on the post, Sunflour clarifies that the new location will be functioning “in place of both” its Mount Laurel and Medford outposts, though the latter closed in September of last year.

Sunflour prides itself on being a 100% scratch kitchen that specializes in custom cake designs and orders that can be tailored to any dietary needs, while also keeping the community humming with its selection of smaller treats such as cupcakes, cookies, scones, cinnamon rolls, and more.
