In the post, Paranormal Pizza – owned by brothers Marc and Joey Kubushefski – writes, “Currently we are waiting on insurance to figure everything out. As of right now the plan is to rebuild and reopen once the rebuild is complete. Unfortunately there is no timeline. We just wanted to get a newsletter out to let people know that we are planning to reopen so don’t worry. I know a lot of people have been asking if we were calling it quits. We are not! We’re hoping to be up and running by the summer.”

Despite having only been open about nine months, Paranormal Pizza had already garnered a devout following and stellar reputation for its inspired line-up of vegan pies that include The Alien Bounty Hunter, topped with red sauce, cashew mozzarella, seitan pepperoni, Beyond sausage, green peppers, onions, and mushrooms surrounded by a garlic knot crust, as well as The Gibson Praise, a red sauce and cashew mozzarella-based pie with soy bacon, onions, and mushrooms, amongst others that are rounded out by Weekly Special and Seitan Wing appetizers.

In an interview with What Now Philadelphia published February 22, 2022, Marc Kubushefski said, “When you’re vegan, you don’t have to give up everything. It sucks to walk away from the foods you loved for so long. So, it’s nice to have those comfort foods like pizza and wings to bring back those memories and flavors you’re used to but in a completely cruelty-free way.”
