Terrain – a signature home goods store, nursery, private event space, and garden cafe owned by popular retailer Urban Outfitters – will be launching its newest outpost in the former site of The Market at DelVal, located at 2100 Lower State Road in Doylestown Township next summer, according to the brand’s official website.

A representative of Terrain was not immediately available for comment.

Terrain’s DelVal location was first put to the Dolyestown Township Board of Supervisors in September 2021. At the time, the Bucks County Herald wrote, “Because of DelVal’s specialization in agriculture, Terrain saw a great fit for a partnership,” and that the cafe’s fresh produce and delivery would be sourced with help from the university.

Similarly, during the board of supervisors meeting Dave Ziel, chief development officer at Urban Outfitters said that “This could be a sustaining spot that allows DVU to grow and do what they specialize in, while allowing us at Terrain to focus on what we specialize in – retail.”

With an uncompromising commitment to sustainable practices and community engagement, each Terrain menu – which includes brunch, lunch, and dinner – differs slightly, not only from location to location but also with the season, depending on availability from the cafe’s local farm partners and vendors.

Nevertheless, each menu features “hand-selected local produce, meats, and dairy alongside a thoughtfully curated beverage program from near and far.” What’s more, each location boasts a “deliberately designed environment to blur the line between indoor and outdoor space…providing an inspiring dining experience every time.”
