The Stables is currently awaiting final approvals from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.

The Stables Kitchen and Beer Garden will occupy the location previously used by Levante Brewery. Backhus, whol also owns Bloom, spoke to What Now Philadelphia about the changes made to the property to accommodate the beer garden’s needs, stating “For the back of the house, we have built a brand new kitchen featuring a custom made Nepalese pizza oven.”

The Stables 7,121 square foot area will provide seating for approximately 150 guests inside and around 250 customers outside.

The Chester County location allows the beer garden access to a wide range of local brews, which the Stables plan to take full advantage of. Backhus says “Our R license will allow us to feature a rotating 20 beer tap list complemented by a robust can and bottle list, mixed cocktails and wine by the glass.”

The menu for the Stables Kitchen and Beer Garden has not been finalized yet, however guests can look forward to good pizza, great beer, and a dynamic environment. Backhus states “We are so excited to bring this property to life. The Stables atmosphere is electric. We will feature live music on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and live sports will be on all indoor and outdoor tvs. This should really come to life this summer and become a destination for locals, visitors, foodies and beer aficionados alike.”
