Vogt recently posted on the South Jersey Food Scene Facebook page that the restaurant, located at 3747 Church Road, is readying to undergo inspections. While an exact opening date has not yet been announced, Vogt’s social media posts declare Dolsan Korean to be “coming soon” and the “Hottest restaurant in 2024”, suggesting that customers will be able to enjoy the restaurant’s cuisine early next year.

While Dolset House and Dolsan Korean share ownership, the concepts will differ. Vogt states that Dolsan will have a smaller menu, describing it to The Courier Post as “like Korean steakhouse, sushi style. Not hibachi or Chinese or all you can eat.”

Vogt has been steadily drumming up anticipation for Dolsan Korean since mid-2023, well before he had even announced a name for the concept. The original intention was to open the restaurant in October of 2023, however Dolsan now seems on track to open within the next few months.
